Talk:LXQt

Having scrounged around a bit for LXQt documentation that works on ARM and Intel laptops I feel it's time we as a community created a comprehensive page that gets netbooks up and running as simply as possible. I think a great way to facilitate this is to use LXQt and recommend various complementary software. For instance, I find that SDDM runs well as a window manager, Iceweasel with no-script installed runs fairly well and Seahorse / owncloud are easy key/cloud solutions for this desktop. (XScreenSaver is also a program that deserves special attention on this page. Same goes for NetworkManager and the network-manager-applet)

I think we should also clarify some nuances that need clarification when configuring LXQt as well. For instance, since LXQt uses libinput by default but doesn't have a graphical interface for configuring the mouse your left searching wiki's and docs to simply turn on tap-to-click for touchpads. First things first though, I ported the source code for Arch over and haven't yet debugged it for non-free references.

Please pardon the shortness / informal aspects of this post. Currently on the bus with an old laptop that's dying.
