1 In section "Replace Arch packages with Parabola ones": Pacman won't install due to missing archlinuxarm-keyring keys

Our pacman depends on archlinuxarm-keyring which cannot be assumed to be present in Arch ARM installations (In Arch ARM package verification is opt-in), however we instruct the user to enable signature verification after installing parabola-keyring, and therefore archlinuxarm-keyring can't be verified and pacman fails to install.

+1, we should do it because we suggest enable signature verification since it's one of our main policy --Emulatorman (talk) 07:02, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

All necessary keyrings should be installed while package verification is disabled. --Isacdaavid (talk) 00:57, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

ok, i'll add it to the wiki as note, thanks for the report --Emulatorman (talk) 07:02, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

2 Repo mismatch

Arch ARM adds repositories [aur] (similar in scope to [pcr], which is at the time of writing unavailable for armv7h) and [alarm] to normal Arch. Do we plan on blacklisting nonfree packages from these repos too? Otherwise we should instruct newcomers to remove them or overwrite/merge pacman.conf with pacman.conf.pacnew.

Yes of course, we are blacklisting those packages too because a lot of them are non-compatible FSDG and comes from official Arch ARM repos. If you want, you, ovruni and Gaming4JC could add those ones to the blacklist since you are one of our ARM port hackers, meanwhile i'm blacklisting their uboot packages because are adapted for their nonfree linux kernel and some of them weren't built from the source. --Emulatorman (talk) 07:31, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

On the other hand, as long as we don't port [pcr], [nonprism], etc, to arm we should at least let arm users know that these repos won't work for them. --Isacdaavid (talk) 00:56, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

ok, we'll do it, but we should keep a note saying that [pcr], [nonprism] packages for armv7h are under developing as U-Boot/GRUB example --Emulatorman (talk) 07:31, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

Could you help us to improve the article editing it too? it could be useful for us --Emulatorman (talk) 07:31, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
