This article has been suggested as a candidate for merging with Pacman_troubleshooting#Errors_about_Keys.

the reason i made this a distinct page was because the original troubleshooting pager is rather dense and verbose - this particular problem of an outdated or otherwise corrupt keyring is by far the most common problem that this page was made to be the terse E-Z answer to a common IRC question - specifically the output of the bot command ,reset-keyring --bill-auger (talk) 06:23, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

some wikis have a concept of a "template" where you can use the identical data in multiple places - the thing that would be lost though is that the original article is well commented for learning purposes ----bill-auger (talk) 22:41, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

i also duplicated the "Errors_during_package_verification" section from the install guide https://wiki.parabola.nu/Installation_Guide#Errors_during_package_verification - i did not want to clutter the page with another merge template though; so i just mention it in this discussion --bill-auger (talk) 20:45, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
