Talk:Backup

There are important problems not solved by just using rsync: encryption of data (so the server operator doesn't know what's there), verification of its correctness, being able to restore the backup (removable media which I use often fails), doing backup often and not using too much space for this. This article should discuss these problems and tools designed to solve them. mtjm 20:55, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
